When we pray we each hope that God hears us. That’s one of the reasons we pray in the first place isn’t it?

We desire God’s fellowship, His comfort and very often a few answers to the overwhelming problems in our lives.

When we pray we don’t usually expect not to hear from God. Maybe some do. Perhaps some avoid prayer altogether with the attitude or feeling that God will never hear them and that they will never receive anything from God anyway so why bother.

But God, tells us that, those who come to Him must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who look to Him (Heb 11:6).

So again, with the assumption that we believe that God is there for us, we pray to Him hoping to receive an answer, even if it’s yes or no. It’s communication from God, our creator and Savior who loves us and cares about us.

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
