All Your Mobile Devices Need A Rest
Not Just Your Phones — If You Want Them To Perform For You
--
All Devices Means — All Devices
After reading my article, Give Your Phone A Rest, a reader jokingly responded, “I don’t suppose blogging on my tablet instead is what you meant… lol.”
I didn’t mean that actually, and I have to publicly admit the article didn’t imply the inclusivity of all mobile devices; although I didn’t think I needed to say that. But I understand the need to spell it out plainly. We’re all too busy to guess and make assumptions.
I apologize
So Yes! The need for REST, applies to all mobile devices. If you’ve been operating any of your mobile devices non-stop, they need a rest; at least overnight and failing that, an hour or two if you absolutely can’t do without your mobile device for longer than that.
Consider Investment In Back — up Devices
If All Your Work Depends On Them
But I repeat — Give your mobile devices the full rest they need. Don’t continue to make blind assumptions that our mobile devices can handle the rigors of 24 — hour continuous up time. I personally don’t have all that faith in technology. It’s already shown us on more than a few occasions that it isn’t without faults.
Give your devices the rest they need. They’ll last longer. Don’t run them into the ground. If you do, you’ll do it at the risk of ruining your device and the inevitable coughing up of additional monies for replacements.
Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You
I hope this article has been helpful.
