Some days I really can’t do it — Come out to play. Of course I can but it comes at a high cost to my health. I’d like to be able to be well enough for another day, and not be totally rung out, exhausted and regretting my decision to do so. Sometimes I’ll admit it’s worth it to be with friends, family and dearly loved ones, but dang — it’s brutally hard. I feel like a big baby many times being the one that has to always stay in, even if I have a good excuse: to not overtax my system.

The thing is — You have to choose.

So fellow MSers, try to choose wisely. You’ll be the one to experience the consequences. Ask yourself, is the potential fallout to your health worth it? If you decide it is, go for it and try not to blame others for your decision. And don’t keep kicking yourself either. It’s okay that you were just trying to have your share of a little bit of the fun in life.

Thanks for reading,

Barb Ann
