Paging Daniel Boone

Every Head At The Gate Looked Up

I was at the airport recently waiting for my son to pick me up. They were paging a Daniel Boone — a desperate — we’re about to take off now, last flight call. I Don’t know if he ever showed up.

When I was a kid I was glued to the TV set when Daniel Boone was on too. Would I have named my son after him? Maybe — He was impressive.
